Just a snippet of what kind of day we’ve had today…

James is on the couch reading some book. He does this often. Nick and I are kneading the dough for homemade kolaches. James perks up from his book to announce that he is now on Chapter Two.

“What are you reading?” we ask. James holds up the book as high as his little arm can bear the heavy leather bound with gold leaf edges.
